The requirements for the onboard medical inventory of Hong Kong flagged vessels are stipulated by the Hong Kong Merchant Shipping Regulation. According to the latest amendment (2016), the list of recommended medicines and equipment to be used on board is the list that is set out in the International Medical Guide for ships, as published by the World Health Organization (WHO).
